Pattullo Bridge overnight closure this week
Closure necessary for annual seismic and wind monitoring testing
NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C. – The Pattullo Bridge will be closed to traffic overnight this Thursday from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. The closure is necessary to test the Seismic Early Warning and Wind Monitoring System on the bridge. The bridge will remain open to pedestrians, cyclists, and first responders in both directions at all times.
This work is part of an annual inspection to ensure the Pattullo Bridge continues operating safely and reliably for bridge users.
